We really are committed to making the veterinary field a better place to work and it all starts with giving you the tools to prevent and cope with the stress, frustration and burnout that is so common in our field so that you can support yourself and others in the profession.

    Mentorship is not something that should be optional, it should be an integral part of the educational process for ALL members of the veterinary profession. Being a credentialed veterinary technician, I am thrilled to join the MentorVet team to ensure that every veterinary technician receives the guidance, direction, and life-skills that they deserve.

    Working alongside many veterinary technicians in my career and through my research, I recognize that there are many unique stressors and challenges for veterinary technicians. So we are excited to be collaborating with veterinary technicians to offer a program to provide mentorship and support for all veterinary technicians.

MentorVet Tech

evidence-based mentorship

  • Participate in five modules of professional skills training to build and grow your professional wellbeing toolkit. Modules include stress management, conflict management, and communication skills.

  • You will attend a one hour monthly virtual peer group meeting to discuss module content and gain support from fellow peers on challenges faced in your career.

  • Get ongoing individual support, if desired, by pairing up with a peer mentor on our mentor platform

  • This program has been approved for 10 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval.*

    *MentorVet Tech program has been RACE approved and is also approved in New York State.
